My article about the top 10 restaurant complaints has caused quite a stir with some people. Knoxfrzb wrote that “whoever wrote this petty, bitchy tripe is obviously miserable and burned out on the whole gig.” I suppose there is some truth to that. The restaurant industry sucks your soul one shift at a time. Having said that, I stand by my commentary. Jack said “Sorry about a servers inconvenience but it's my money that pays his tip and salary.” I accept this comment. Doesn’t mean I have to like it. :>
The weird thing is that I wasn't trying to sound whiney. I was actually trying to explain why restaurant service isn't always what we would like it to be. Such is life in a service industry!
