According to a new study released by by Finnish and Swedish, people who drink coffee have a lower risk of developing dementia and Alzheimer's.
"Middle-aged people who drank between three and five cups of coffee a day lowered their risk of developing dementia and Alzheimer's disease by between 60 and 65 percent later in life," said lead researcher on the project, Miia Kivipelto, a professor at the University of Kuopio in Finland and at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm."
Glad to hear it. That means even more people are going to order coffee at restaurants. For some reason, I HATE severing coffee. Maybe its because it's hot and hard to carry. Maybe it's because I don't drink it myself so I don't get the attraction. Or maybe it's because restaurants never seem to have a good, efficient way of preparing the coffee so it doesn't take a bunch extra steps to get the beverage to the table.
Either way, I hate coffee.

Coffee sucks! It never fails. You are ready to leave for the night, all you have is one table left and one of them (usually the oldest, frailest, and most finicky one) has to have coffee. This of course means that not only will I have to brew a fresh pot because they had to have their precious coffee, they will be there for at least another 15 minutes while i brew, find the creamers, and deliver their precious drink. THEN, they take their sweet time drinking it because it is too hot.
Coffee should be outlawed from restaurants....until people can come up with a way, like tea, to have it brewed at their table...or better yet, on the way to the table.
The trick is never throw the last batch of coffee out until everyone leaves or Murphy's law someone will order one when you just have. What I really hate is when a table orders lattes , cappucinos , espressos that all take precious time to make. I will take a simple coffee any day. With tea the water is never hot enough.
I really hate coffee guys. I mean I really hate it. Dietrich, I couldn't agree with you more. Outlaw it!
